Fresh Start

"Things will happen in your life that you can't stop,
but that's no reason to shut out the world.
There's a purpose for the good and for the bad."

---"Crazy Pete" Sims (Walter Sparrow), Now and Then

Since I stopped writing my Quiet Country House blog last July, so much has changed in my life. For one thing, I am no longer living in the Quiet Country house, but rather in a tidy little cottage in the village which I sometimes featured in my Sunday Strolls or other posts. I am going to begin again, here at this new blog.

This coming week I will begin the assistant teaching semester of my university experience in a local first grade classroom. I am inspired and excited to begin! I will post when possible, sharing glimpses of this new journey I am beginning... in both my evolving personal life and in my professional endeavors.

Wherever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you peace and inspiration.

Oh my, while I was changing my life, you were quietly changing yours as well. Love you my dear friend and can't wait to hear about your fresh start.

Robbin, There were some not-so-quiet moments of upheaval in my life on the way here... I always have to wait and write about those moments in retrospect. But... here I am with a fresh start and fresh perspective!

Thank you for your sweet note. Love you too!

As the dear Kinks sang, "I think the weather's changing, I hope the weather is gonna change.
I hope it's a change for the better and it will brighten up my day.
I think there's a change in the weather, I hope good weather is here to stay,
I hope it's a change for the better and it will brighten up my day."

You brighten my day by coming back to blogging!

Nan, Thank you. I need to cue that song up on Grooveshark and listen. It has been a long time since I heard it.

You brighten my day by coming by for a visit. :)
