Sunday Snapshot

I see morning sun, glittering on a fresh blanket of snow

I hear the tinny mechanical music of my eleven year old son's hand held video game.  The rest of the house is quiet; the other children still dreaming.

I smell and taste hazelnut coffee.

The sun is dazzling.  The sky clear and blue.  All the world looks fresh this morning, and I feel renewed on this first Sunday in March.

Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you joy!

Sounds beautiful, crisp and clean. It is cold and windy this morning at the edge of the woods.
I am ready to welcome Spring.
A day filled with peace and wisdom is sent to you.

Hello, dear Aisling! I'm thankful for YOU this morning. You are a word whisperer and a kind, kind soul. Hooray for March! We had better buy our kites and enjoy the wind!

Ernestine, Thank you for sending thoughts of peace and wisdom! The thought of your little home at the edge of the woods, even when windy and cold, is always a peaceful one!

Pom Pom, Thank you for such a lovely note this morning. I think kites sound fantastic! I have the lovely skies for it this morning, I only need slightly warmer air and a really cute, colorful, windbreaker! lol!

And you are already observing closely all of your day by being in the moment.

Your March morning sounds delightful...mine is filled with the sound of gentle rain on the roof and snow beginning to melt...and I feel contented in the gray and the soft dripping.

Tabor, I have to remind myself to do that sometimes, but I think we fit so much more life in our days by being in the moment, don't you?

Laura, I miss the sound of gentle rain. That is one of spring's gifts that I am really looking forward to! Enjoy your gray and dripping contentment! There is a good, easy feeling in a gray rainy day.

Good March dear Aisling,

You're a calming cup of chamomile tea for me. Take good care of yourself.

All joy to you,

Lovely, Aisling. Is he the only one still at home? The years have passed and I can't remember how old everyone is.

Nan, I still have all four at home (some of the time!) They are 8, 11, 18 and nearly 21 now! Wow!
